Managing Your Veterinary Items and Services
Check or expiring inventory items, low inventory or search by category. New layout, display settings, search options, and filters give each user a clean fast experience when it comes to managing items and services.
Managing items and services can be summarized in four key features in Hippo Manager.
Search by columns and organize by additional types. Furthermore, it’s possible to choose from new field boxes for criteria search and easily edit items by selecting rows. Importing items and services is a breeze and editing can be done within the same screen.
Change the number of rows to display on each screen. This assists with easily sorting through search results.
Using Dynamic Search to Manage Items and Services
Searching is FASTER and SO MUCH EASIER! Search within the columns to quickly find exactly what you’re looking for!
1. Search within the columns!
Use the dynamic search to look within the category column, name or barcode. Type in a search term within any of the column fields at the top to instantly sort through all items and services. Quickly check for low inventory or expired items this way!
Click the “x” or the “RESET” button at the top of the screen to clear the default search.
The supplier screen can also be sorted by the column and alphabetically:

Choose from seven new field types and select up to three fields to sort by. Get to what you’re looking for FASTER! Choose from fields such as low inventory, reminder type, expiring soon and more. Fewer clicks speed up staff time and client processing.
Items with low inventory and those expiring soon can be simultaneously pulled up in the items and services screen, not just with the low inventory report. Click the selected field type boxes or, the “RESET” button to clear the criteria search. It’s possible to edit the items from this search screen by choosing the “EDIT” button and modifying that item/service.
3. Easily select and edit veterinary items and services
Select rows to edit the features, barcode and bulk edit items selected. show the edit screen Change the item’s type in the edit screen by sliding on/off.
Importing is simplified.
Detailed import instructions are included to assist with easy upload into Hippo Manager. Bulk import new items and services when setting up inventory in Hippo Manager, or use for adding multiple items at once when updating.
